Bro. Ken Stogsdill, Minister of Worship kstogsdill@sylvanhillsfbc.com

Ken joined our staff May 8, 2007.  He is married to Barbara and they have two children, Eric and David.   Early on in his growth as a Christian, God taught Ken that availability is the key to walking and serving in a close relationship with Jesus.  His calling came out of that context and he has seen many blessings in his life and in others as the result of what God can do in making the available and common into the extraordinary. As a minister first and a musician second, equipping the saints for the work of ministry comes as he helps people be good stewards of what God has given them in talents and gifts.  Serving along side his pastor in leading others in worship has been his joy.  God has used his relationships with His people to develop ministry opportunities and program organizations to further His kingdom. Ken always looks forward to the new ways God can further His kingdom through him and others as they commit themselves to simply being more available.

Herb & Joan Prince, Staff Missionaries for Honduras

Herb and Joan Prince launched this ministry in the early 1980's.  Abundant Life Ministries in Honduras today touches the whole nation of Honduras.  It has been a very successful church planting ministry and provides Bible training for ministers through it's Abundant Life Bible Institute located at Esparanza.  They also operate the Center of Love and Life in the capitol city of Tegucigalpa.  Children, suffering from cancer, come to them from all over Honduras for special treatment at a neighboring hospital while living at the center.  Many children have come to know Christ through the Center of Love and Life.  Other churches now join us in supporting this significant ministry.
